We are looking for a Marketing + Business Development (MBD) Lead to support and implement the strategic marketing and business development efforts initially in the science and technology sector.

The MBD Lead will work closely with the Science + Technology Practice Group and Chair, practice/region/discipline group members, marketing and communications team members, and other stakeholders. They will play a lead role in researching, developing, planning, and executing a cohesive and integrated strategy, understanding practice group/disciplines/regions needs, and changing the conversation about integrated architecture, engineering, and planning services.

The successful candidate will be a perceptive, creative, and strategic communications and management professional with demonstrated experience and expertise. How you'll make a difference :

  1. Develop a strong understanding of their practice group(s)’ portfolio and team members.
  2. Work collaboratively with practice groups and MBD team members to develop and execute a market strategy and an annual plan, with accountability for delivering upon priorities and revenue goals.
  3. Provide leadership and support on key pursuits in the practice groups, collaborating with regional marketing colleagues and project teams to develop winning submissions and collateral.
  4. Co-lead annual budget development and sales revenue targets with the practice group Chairs, and work with Financial Operations to track return on investment and other financial metrics.
  5. Support client relationship management efforts and lead knowledge management for the practice groups using DIALOG’s CRM platform.
  6. Develop and maintain a market pipeline report and track client engagement using DIALOG’s methods and tools.
  7. Research mid- and long-term opportunities within the scope and geography of the practice group strategies, making the pre-positioning phase a differentiator.
  8. Provide leadership for “go / no go” analysis for project pursuits with key clients, aiding in decision-making.
  9. Prioritize and action award applications, project photography, conference participation, and client engagement events with group members.
  10. Partner with the Communications + Content team to develop a marketing and communications plan, including project and people promotion, milestones, key wins, awards, conferences, PR, and storytelling.
  11. Support other practice groups, regions, and disciplines as needed as work evolves.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are :

  1. You have 5+ years of experience in marketing and business development, especially in complex pursuits and proposals.
  2. You have 3+ years’ experience and knowledge in the A/E industry or similar complex B2B professional services industries. Knowledge of the Science + Technology and Government sectors is an asset.
  3. You possess a passion for improving community wellbeing through science, technology, and federal government opportunities.
  4. You are skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, coordinating stakeholders from senior partners to external consultants.
  5. You understand and can navigate RFP/RFQ/RFX processes, breaking down requirements logically and succinctly.

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
