Job description

Imperial Dade Canada, a leading national distributor, has a job opening in St-Laurent. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, assist with content creation, analyze market trends, and help manage the company’s digital presence. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to various aspects of marketing, from strategy to implementation.

Imperial Dade is the leading distributor of foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance supplies, and equipment in the U.S. As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many B2B market segments, including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, universities, and restaurants. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves more than 80,000 customers through a network of over 100 branches.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social platforms.
  • Support content development including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
  • Help manage the company website and ensure content is up to date.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support marketing projects.
  • Assist in organizing events, trade shows, or webinars.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Perform light design work as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Smartsheet, Canto, or similar.
  • Experience managing social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital advertising (Google Ads, social media ads) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with video or photo editing tools is an asset.
