Your Team:

Join Flair’s Marketing team, where creative campaigns, events, and brand activations help connect the airline with customers and communities. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant supports the execution of marketing campaigns, events, partnerships, and brand initiatives across the organization. This role provides hands‑on experience across a variety of marketing activities and the opportunity to contribute directly to the delivery of campaigns and events.

The Marketing Assistant provides support across events, content creation, promotional materials, and day‑to‑day marketing activities. This is an execution‑focused role that supports brand presence, community engagement, and marketing initiatives across multiple channels.

This is a temporary four (4) month, on‑site position based at one of our offices in Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BC; or Toronto, ON.

A Day in the Life:
  • Support the setup, operation, and teardown of marketing activations, sponsorship events, trade shows, and other branded experiences.
  • Represent the Flair brand at community events, festivals, partner activations, and other promotional opportunities.
  • Engage with consumers in a professional and approachable manner while distributing promotional materials and giveaways.
  • Assist with event registration, guest check‑in, photo opportunities, and other experiential event elements.
  • Load, transport, organize, and maintain event materials, branded merchandise, and marketing inventory.
  • Ensure booths, displays, signage, and promotional areas are properly presented, organized, and stocked throughout events.
  • Capture photo and video content at events, activations, and marketing initiatives for use across marketing channels.
  • Create and support social media content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with editing photos, videos, and graphics using tools such as Canva or Adobe applications.
  • Monitor social channels during activations and flag content opportunities for the Marketing team.
  • Support contest fulfillment, social media engagement activities, and other campaign‑related tasks.
  • Prepare and assemble promotional materials, signage, swag, and event kits for activations and campaigns.
  • Manage inventory of marketing supplies and branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of marketing materials across Canada.
  • Assist with maintaining marketing asset libraries and organizing files and materials.
  • Support the fulfillment of partnership and sponsorship commitments.
  • Assist with influencer, media, and partner hosting activities as required.
  • Support airport, tourism, and community marketing initiatives.
  • Help coordinate giveaways, contests, and promotional campaigns.
  • Track event attendance, contest entries, giveaway distribution, and engagement metrics.
  • Compile photos, videos, and results from activations to support recap reporting.
  • Assist with data entry, invoice tracking, spreadsheets, contact lists, and other general administrative tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Role:

The preferred candidate should exemplify Flair's core values: honesty, efficiency, accountability, and respect, while demonstrating success in previous roles. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who possess:

    • Previous experience supporting events, activations, promotions, customer service, or brand‑related initiatives is considered an asset.
    • Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or LinkedIn is preferred.
    • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools is considered an asset.

    • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with basic content creation or design tools.
    • Ability to adapt quickly, respond to changing priorities, and support a wide variety of marketing activities as needed.
