About The Role

Building a reputation and a brand has never been more complex, nor more exciting and rewarding, particularly within the dynamic and highly regulated financial services landscape. Our mandate within Culture, Communications and Marketing (CCM) is to build, elevate, and protect ATB’s culture, brand, and reputation. Using a OneATB mindset, we work with business stakeholders to engage team members, influence our culture, and deliver a differentiated brand experience to prospects, clients, and our community. We do this to acquire and grow our client base and strategically position ATB’s reputation and brand in the marketplace as a driver of our purpose and strategy. As strategic partners across ATB, our team works to acquire the right new clients and to deepen our relationship with existing clients.

As the MarCom Manager for the Business & Capital Markets Squad, you will play an important role in executing marcom strategies that directly support the growth and reputation of ATB's Capital Markets and Business Banking divisions. You'll contribute to a high-performing team, translating strategic objectives into impactful campaigns, marketing and communications initiatives and unique / bespoke experiences that resonate with sophisticated B2B audiences.

Accountabilities

  • Marcom Strategy Execution : Drive the successful execution of marcom initiatives for the Capital Markets & Business Squad, ensuring alignment with the holistic CCM marcom plan and supporting the achievement of PCBC outcomes and key performance indicators within these business verticals.
  • Content Development & Campaign Management : Develop and manage the creation of strategic and tactical marcom content, experiences, and campaigns for Capital Markets and Business Banking audiences. Ensure all deliverables meet ATB's business objectives, brand standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate closely with stakeholders within ATB Business & Capital Markets, as well as colleagues across CCM. Ensure clear communication and alignment on marcom objectives, fostering effective partnerships to collectively achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor the performance of marcom initiatives, gathering and analyzing data to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement. Contribute to reporting on key performance indicators and progress towards established goals.
  • Digital Channel Management & Content Amplification : Support the development and optimization of digital marcom strategies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Earned, Owned, and Shared (EOS) channels to drive brand reputation, thought leadership, and client engagement for Capital Markets and Business Banking.
  • Market & Client Insight Application : Apply a deep understanding of B2B client needs and market trends within the financial services and capital markets landscape to inform marcom content and campaign development.

  • Marcom Expertise : Solid understanding of marcom principles, with practical experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns across various channels.
  • Client Centricity & Data Application : Possesses a strong focus on client needs, with an ability to leverage data and insights to inform marcom tactics and contribute to brand performance.
  • Results Orientation : Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality marcom outputs and supporting the measurement of campaign effectiveness against defined KPIs.
  • Innovation & Adaptability : Contributes to creative problem-solving and demonstrates an ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and evolving marcom technologies.
  • Passion for ATB Brand : Demonstrates a passion for and commitment to living the ATB Brand, defined by our purpose of "Making It Possible" and embodying the behaviours of our ATB ID : Client Obsessed, Driven to Perform, Champions of Belonging, OneATB.

You Bring

  • Relevant degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience across marcom disciplines; specific expertise in B2B and / or in financial services focused on mid- to senior-market businesses and / or Capital Markets advisory is a significant asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing marcom strategies that have contributed to brand positioning and measurable outcomes in a competitive marketplace.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in complex, matrixed environments.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for, and commitment to, the communities in which we operate.
