Market Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Market Service Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the service department, ensuring our ability to keep Customers for Life. The role involves recruiting and leading a team of Route Service Managers, Supervisors, and Representatives who serve diverse customers, from small family businesses to major corporations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service team members.
  • Build strong customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with the management team to deliver excellent customer service and product programs.
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals.
Qualifications:
  • Business-savvy individual who seeks innovative ways to increase profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Results-driven relationship manager willing to support team and customer needs.
  • Experience working with Route Service Representatives and Managers.
  • Auto insurance compliance for personal vehicle use.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, training, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
