ABOUT THE JOB :

The Market Sales Manager (MSM) is responsible for the commercial performance of an MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area). They manage all sales teams within the market to meet revenue targets. The MSM conducts daily productivity reviews, monitors sales activities, provides coaching and training, and collaborates with the Division Commercial leader and General Manager to align resources and results.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
  • Drive growth in Unit Lease Revenue and Value Added Products & Services (VAPS) by selling space solutions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue goals by increasing volume, rates, and VAPS performance. Provide regular performance feedback and identify training needs.
  • Assess the competitive landscape, understand market dynamics, and collaborate on marketing and commercial plans to achieve objectives and increase market presence.
  • Implement pricing strategies, monitor price realization, and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, monitor closing ratios, and address recurring trends to ensure success.
  • Work with the sales team to develop territory and account plans to maximize opportunities and achieve goals. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning discussions.
  • Manage quote approvals according to authority levels.
  • Participate in regional meetings to identify and mitigate risks to achieving revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with team resources to align sales strategies with operational and budgetary objectives.
  • Engage in consultative sales development, account management, and territory planning.
  • Use Net Promoter Score (NPS) to improve customer satisfaction and address issues impacting competitiveness.
  • Deploy proactive customer relationship management techniques, including spending time in the field meeting customers.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Canadian Citizens must have a current passport; Permanent Residents must have a valid US visa for training at our headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • 5+ years of successful sales management experience with proven results, preferably in leasing, logistics, asset/facility management, or construction-related industries.
  • Experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Inside Sales Manager, or Branch Manager is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing sales teams.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems like Salesforce; experience with Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for in-person and phone interactions.
  • Ability to work in construction-like environments, including sitting, standing, moving, and lifting 10-25 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% and reside within the supported market.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range : $86,835.00 - $130,305.00

Compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and may include overtime, bonuses, or commissions.
