The Role: De'Longhi Market Development Representative – Edmonton, AB Territory – Part-time Approximately 22 hours per week

Position Summary:

Our client, De’Longhi, is a global leader in innovation, product design, and performance, operating across various SDA categories with brands like Braun Household, NutriBullet, Kenwood, and Nespresso. They are committed to creating exceptional products that enhance consumers' lives through innovative technologies and design. Your role is to drive sales through product expertise, ensuring their products outperform competitors.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:

  1. Build relationships with key store personnel.
  2. Establish brand loyalty and credibility with retail sales associates – Be the Brand Champion!
  3. Travel within your assigned market to visit all stores in the territory regularly.
  4. Maintain in-store marketing standards to boost brand awareness.
  5. Engage customers during high traffic times at demo events to drive product sales.
  6. Conduct training sessions for retail associates and managers.
  7. Assist with out-of-market trainings and events.
  8. Provide merchandising services, POS delivery, and verify compliance.
  9. Gather market insights and provide field feedback.
  10. Maintain product displays and ensure product functionality in-store.

Your Experience:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience or relevant training.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
