Market Development Representative- CPG

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 5-phase program to learn every aspect of our business, including shipping and receiving, sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and more.

Additional duties will include:

1. Phase 1 - Warehouse Logistics
   • Learn the products we sell, how they are sourced from vendors, and understand all levels of sales support.
2. Phase 2 - Operations
   • Get involved in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.
   • Assist customers with product and service issues and manage large-scale projects.
3. Phase 3 - Outside Sales / Account Management
   • Learn how to identify new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with customers and vendors.
4. Phase 4 - Career Planning
   • Use your training to determine your ideal career path within the company.

Qualifications

• College and/or university degree
• Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
• Desire to learn and grow continuously
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and high integrity standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
