Working with local market launch teams and/or growth teams, the Market Development Manager drives client acquisition and retention marketing efforts in a defined geography. This position integrates national line-of-business and industry marketing campaigns with local efforts to deepen client/prospect relationships, build local community, and deliver on the 5 Cs promise.

Essential Duties :
  1. Advance development of focus client and prospect relationships.
  2. Develop and implement a local marketing plan aligned with national strategies, strengthening relationships with key targets and community influencers.
  3. Collaborate with local teams to define targets, provide market insights, and support relationship development plans.
  4. Partner with business developers to achieve growth objectives.
  5. Support regional communication goals and advocate for strategic growth initiatives.
  6. Lead local go-to-market meetings and share relevant national and local programming.
  7. Understand and contribute to relationship development strategies for key targets.
  8. Lead integration of national marketing strategies locally, focusing on Tier 1 and 2 clients.
  9. Promote national industry and LOB marketing programs and campaigns locally.
  10. Organize and oversee local events and sponsorships that support relationship development and community presence.
  11. Monitor and synthesize client feedback and demand generation results to inform local strategies.
  12. Support the firm's commitment to delivering the RSM experience and promoting our 5Cs behaviors.
  13. Manage local public relations efforts, build relationships with external organizations, and identify community involvement activities.
  14. Coordinate with the marketing team to support local marketing plans and manage the local marketing budget.
  15. Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Compensation Range : $96,000 - $139,000

Individuals will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
