Market Development Associate – Remote, (Greater Toronto Area Preferred)
As a Market Development Associate, you’ll play a key role in advancing sales and marketing strategies by promoting and specifying insulation solutions across industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Heavy Industry. Collaborating closely with both sales and technical teams, your efforts will boost brand visibility, generate new business opportunities, enhance customer engagement, and drive market share growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Cultivate preferences among engineers, asset owners, and other stakeholders to drive specification pull-through demand.
· Support commercial projects through all stages in coordination with the sales team.
· Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to educate and engage customers.
· Offer frontline technical support while escalating advanced inquiries to specialist teams.
· Capture market insights and customer feedback to inform marketing and product strategy.
· Assist with the introduction of new products and support marketing campaigns.
· Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to sales and performance reporting.
· Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and demos to showcase solutions and collect feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
· Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to grasp and communicate technical information—including interpreting mechanical drawings.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
· Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
· Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 50%).
