A leading company in the personal care sector is seeking a Market Collaborating Demand Planner to drive demand planning and forecasting processes. You will play a pivotal role in aligning production schedules and financial objectives based on accurate volume and value forecasts, liaising with multiple departments to achieve company goals.
Purpose of the Job : To support and influence the S&OP process, by orchestrating the building of an unconstrained volume and value forecast for supply chain planning execution and resource allocation.
Background
As part of the Supply Chain group, the Market Collaborating Demand Planner is a senior role where you will be responsible to develop, maintain and distribute regular monthly forecasts (volume & value) by SKU for new and existing products within our Personal Care business.
This is a key position as your forecasts will enable other departments at Unilever to develop production schedules, logistic budgets, inventory plans, financial, strategic and corporate growth plans.
You will be involved in all aspects of the business planning process and will interact closely with all internal departments, being responsible for achieving forecast accuracy targets.
