Job Description

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and managing accounts within the Badger region, collaborating with Regional and Area Managers, and VPs of Operations to develop and implement strategies to boost revenue, market share, and customer loyalty. It includes overseeing sales tools, systems, training, and coordinating efforts to maximize growth, while managing the sales cycle from initial client relationships to contract closure and follow-up.

Salary : The salary for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute a 1-year business plan, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and the immediate manager’s business plan.
  • Drive revenue growth with existing and prospective customers to achieve regional sales & profit objectives.
  • Manage the Outside Sales Representatives within the region, including account performance and KPIs.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals for the region and projecting expected sales revenue for existing and new clients.
  • Ensure sales representatives document all activities timely and accurately in the ORACLE CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the operations management team to establish goals and actions for expanding market share in the region.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for regional sales representatives, assisting in lead generation, presentations, and closing new business.
  • Report monthly on sales and marketing activities within the assigned operating center, including new clients, target accounts, and actions.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-10 years of high-level sales management experience (actively managing sales reps)
  • Related industry experience in Construction, Oil and Gas, Transportation, Underground Utilities, Equipment Rentals, or Environmental Services
  • Experience in Direct Sales
  • Proven track record of developing sales personnel
  • Proven success in developing new products / services and new markets
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills
