DOF Canada seeks a Marine Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join the Crewing team. You will oversee training coordination, ensure compliance for marine crew, and manage documentation within the crewing system while handling travel logistics and recruitment activities.

The role requires industry experience or equivalent education, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced offshore environment.

  • Knowledge of offshore operations preferred but not critical.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilités

  • Coordinate training and course scheduling for marine crew.
  • Manage Competency Baseline and Compliance for Marine Crew.
  • Maintain training documentation in crewing system and ensure compliance.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to systems updates and communications.
  • Plan and coordinate internal courses and logistics.
  • Arrange travel and other logistics as required.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for marine crew with senior staff.
  • Coordinate cadets with Senior Crew Coordinator.
  • Represent DOF at schools, fairs and industry events.
  • Add employee profiles to the company crewing system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Course Coordination;
  • Coordination of the Competency Baseline and Compliance for Marine Crew;
  • Maintain all training documentation in crewing system and proactively follow structured process to ensure compliance of crew;
  • Coordination of general administrative tasks in regards to systems updates and communication;
  • Plan and coordinate co-ordinate internal courses;
  • Arrange travel and logistics as required;
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for marine crew in partnership with Senior Crew Coordinator; Regional Crewing Manager, Operations Managers and Vessel Managers;
  • Coordinate cadets together with Senior Crew Coordinator;
  • Represent DOF at school visits, fairs and industry events;
  • Addition of employee profiles to company crewing system.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Industry relevant experience / relevant education (or equivalent experience);
  • Experience in compliance and training within offshore industry
  • Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines;
  • Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position;
  • Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself;

  • Organization and time management skills are essential;
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.
