Zusammenfassung

DOF Canada is seeking a Marine Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join our Crewing team in Nova Scotia. You will oversee training coordination, compliance for marine crew, and maintain documentation within our crewing system.

The role requires industry experience or related education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You will collaborate with vessel managers and senior crew coordinators, and may participate in school visits and industry events.

Aufgaben

  • Coordinate training programs and course scheduling.
  • Maintain competency baseline and crew compliance.
  • Manage training documents in crewing system.
  • Handle admin tasks related to systems updates and communications.
  • Plan internal courses and arrange travel logistics.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment of marine crew with senior teams.
  • Represent DOF at school visits, fairs and events.
  • Add employee profiles to crewing system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Course Coordination;
  • Coordination of the Competency Baseline and Compliance for Marine Crew;
  • Maintain all training documentation in crewing system and proactively follow structured process to ensure compliance of crew;
  • Coordination of general administrative tasks in regards to systems updates and communication;
  • Plan and coordinate co-ordinate internal courses;
  • Arrange travel and logistics as required;
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for marine crew in partnership with Senior Crew Coordinator; Regional Crewing Manager, Operations Managers and Vessel Managers;
  • Coordinate cadets together with Senior Crew Coordinator;
  • Represent DOF at school visits, fairs and industry events;
  • Addition of employee profiles to company crewing system
Requirements
Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Industry relevant experience / relevant education (or equivalent experience);
  • Experience in compliance and training within offshore industry
  • Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines;
  • Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position;
  • Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
  • Organization and time management skills are essential;
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products
