Marine Painter

Aerotek is hiring a Marine Painter/Skilled Labourer for our client located in Delta, BC

Description

1. This person would be working alongside a team of experienced yacht painters.
2. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Gelcoating, Fairing, Fiberglassing, Topcoats, Cleaning, Sanding, and Masking.
3. Setting up tenting for new projects.
4. Will be working indoors in the shop 90% of the time and 10% in the yard.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in yacht construction, repair, or finishing.
2. Experience with gelcoat, topcoat, and fiberglass systems.
3. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and lamination schedules.
4. Strong communication (Verbal & Written) and teamwork skills.
5. Must be clean shaven to pass a fit test.

Wage and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
