Job summary

Diamond Aircraft Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and maintain detailed routings, BOMs, SOPs for structural assemblies, composites, or avionics installations. You will streamline workflows, perform technical studies, and lead manufacturing plans with tooling, equipment, and methods.

Responsibilities include ensuring ECOs are integrated on time, collaborating with quality and scheduling teams, and addressing NCRs with repair options while upholding Health & Safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and controlling Production BOMs, routings, work instructions, and SOPs.
• ERP systems experience; Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset.
• Strong understanding of drawings, blueprint reading, shop math, processes, and configuration requirements.
• CAD familiarity with CATIA, SOLID EDGE, and AUTOCAD is an asset.
• Analytical problem solving with clear shop floor communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed manufacturing routings, BOMs, SOPs for assemblies and installations.
• Streamline production workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Perform technical studies and analyze existing or proposed operations.
• Develop manufacturing plans including sequence, tooling, equipment, work methods.
• Assist with Make or Buy proposals.
• Ensure ECOs are integrated into shop-floor documents within lead times.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on quality, tooling, inspection, scheduling, corrective actions, improvements.
• Investigate NCRs and support repair and disposition proposals.
• Ensure Quality policies are implemented.
• Manufacturing activities comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
