As our nextManufacturing Technician Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes. Your expertise inLean Manufacturing and process optimizationwill be key to enhancing operational quality, efficiency, and capacity.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Standard Work Instructions for new and existing programs
• Participate in APQP teams for new part programs
• Source and specify new equipment using lean principles
• Solve part quality issues and implement corrective/preventative actions
• Lead capacity analysis and support production troubleshooting
• Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Lead and participate in CI activities including SMED, VSM, 5S, and inventory management
• Develop and implement cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with safety and design standards
• Prepare and revise production operations manuals
• Work in compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/manufacturing disciplines
• 3–5 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing (automotive preferred)
• 2–3 years of experience with manufacturing/machining processes
• Familiarity with mechanical/hydraulic pressing
• Knowledge of ISO, QS, IATF standards and Lean Manufacturing
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) Certification Level 1
• Experience leading CI projects and using problem-solving techniques
• Proven success in reducing scrap, tooling costs, and lead times
