Skills Provision is searching for a Manufacturing Technician for a company in Canada.

Salary & Benefits

  • C$95,000 p / a

Role

  • Set up / calibrate equipment / instruments based on engineering / customer requirements.
  • Effectively and successfully support 2 to 4 projects at any given time.
  • Assist in driving implementation of projects to meet the due dates and timelines.
  • Efficiently organise, store, and maintain tooling equipment.
  • Monitor on-going production and perform daily process condition checks.
  • Address and resolve technical issues.
  • Strictly follow company procedures and policies.
  • Perform calculations required for batch processing.
  • Clean, sanitise, assemble, and operate equipment according to standard operating procedures and / or manufacturer’s instruction.
  • Follows safe working practices based on procedures while performing assigned duties.
  • Complete the required paperwork.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Degree in Engineering or another related subject.
  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Must be able to read, interpret and apply schematics relating to designs.
  • Must have strong aptitude for mechanical and electro-mechanical operations.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Must be able to work independently (without direct supervision).
  • Work with staff and resolve all technical problems.
  • Must display integrity, accountability, quality, and continuous learning & improvements.
