STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician, Finished Goods, to join our Vancouver-based team. You will prepare products and materials for global customers, working with manufacturing and other departments to meet demand in a dynamic, science-driven environment.

The role involves ERP/SAP entries, adherence to SOPs, and supporting 5S and workflow improvements. Expect a 11:00am–7:00pm shift with potential overtime and weekend work based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with up to 3 years in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; collaboration across teams.
  • Experience or exposure to manufacturing, pharma, or food packaging is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure finished products meet specs and quality standards.
  • Handle materials and equipment safely to support manufacturing activities.
  • Perform ERP/SAP transactions to document materials and production status.
  • Monitor equipment operation and escalate issues to maintain quality and continuity.
  • Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives in Finished Goods manufacturing.

Are you a detail oriented person who likes working in a dynamic team environment?

STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Finished Goods Manufacturing team! As a Manufacturing Technician, Finished Goods, you will play a critical role in completing the manufacturing process by preparing products and materials for our global customers. You will work collaboratively with other groups in Manufacturing and other departments to meet the demands of Canada’s largest biotech company! This is a great entry level opportunity for someone looking to grow their career, and gain valuable laboratory experience.

Please note that typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00am – 7:00pm PST. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure finished products meet established specifications, quality standards, and tolerance requirements
  • Handle raw materials, work-in-process materials, finished goods, and facility equipment safely and appropriately to support manufacturing activities
  • Perform accurate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/SAP transactions to document and track manufacturing activities, materials, and production status while ensuring compliance with standardized process controls
  • Monitor equipment operation and identify process or equipment issues, escalating concerns as required to maintain product quality and production continuity
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, and workflow optimization initiatives within the Finished Goods manufacturing area
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • High school diploma with up to 3 years of experience working in a team-oriented environment; experience with ERP/SAP systems is considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment; experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or food packaging environments is considered an asset
  • Ability to safely lift 25–30 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, physical coordination, and versatility
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$47,300.00 – $62,700.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
