Job summary

PepsiCo in Taber, AB is seeking a Manufacturing Team Supervisor to lead the frontline manufacturing team, ensuring safety, cost controls, line efficiencies, waste reduction and productivity. The role focuses on aligning the team with production performance standards and coaching staff on performance and development.

The position includes 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule (3 days on, 3 days off) and opportunities for growth within a dynamic, inclusive culture that values sustainability

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations.
  • 3+ years experience in supervising others in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe and satisfying work environment for our Frontline staff.
  • Ensuring service compliance to internal and external customers.
  • Conducting regular Frontline conversations and providing developmental feedback.
  • Coaching, mentoring, training and development of teams and individuals.
  • Maintaining accountability of employee schedules, shift coverage and correct work hours within a timekeeping system.
  • Conducting SOP compliance audits and behaviour-based safety observations.
  • Attending Team Meetings.
  • Role modelling for behaviours based on our PepsiCo Values and Leadership.
  • Applying the guidelines and expectations indicated in theEmployee Manual.

Education

Overview

Frito Lay Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Team Supervisor in Taber, AB. The position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by directing the manufacturing frontline team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to safety, cost, line efficiencies, waste, and productivity. This individual must align the team to achieve production performance standards.

Work Shift

12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule (3 days on, 3 days off)


Responsibilities

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma required, Associate degree or equivalent background preferred.

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations.

  • 3+ years experience in supervising others in a fast-paced work environment preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of general regulatory & safety processes and procedures
