Manufacturing Shift Manager – Elland, Halifax – Earn £30,000 per annum – Full Time - Apply Today!

Hours: Full-time hours working Monday to Friday on the late shift - 14:00 - 22:30.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Opening and closing down the site - to include daily inspections, general maintenance of the site & equipment
  2. Managing the Production Team - communicating work plans, managing shift patterns, performance measurement, training and coaching and disciplinary actions
  3. Monitoring and maintaining all areas of compliance and ensuring warehouse discipline, cleanliness and Health & Safety
  4. Ensuring permit requirements are met and handling the loading and offloading of vehicles in line with traffic management plans as well as ensuring the site is prepped and ready for material deliveries

This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and had previous experience working in this type of environment.

  1. Has experience managing a team, ideally within the waste recycling industry
  2. Is good at problem solving and adapting to different scenarios

  4. Can be flexible regarding working times
  5. Also preferred (but not essential) would be WAMITAB COTC L4 in Hazardous Waste Treatment/Transfer

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
