We are excited to invite an action-oriented Manufacturing Science & Technology Director to join our team of motivated and high-performing colleagues, and help shape our new biotech operations at a pivotal moment in developing our innovative facility.

Key Responsibilities

As the Manufacturing Science & Technology Director, you will:

1. Head the site organization, overseeing Process Engineering, Validation, Process Sciences, Analytical Sciences, and New Product Introduction.
2. Direct technology transfer, manage development and process performance qualification batches, and ensure effective change control and regulatory compliance.
3. Ensure seamless execution of new product introductions.
4. Support the design and execution of capital projects.
5. Identify and resolve issues and risks promptly, collaborating with on-site and above-site stakeholders.
6. Manage the technical lifecycle of inline products at the site.
7. Oversee the deployment of digital tools in our state-of-the-art facility.
8. Contribute to the Site Leadership Team to align with organizational priorities.
9. Represent the site on global technical teams and manage financial forecasts to meet departmental targets.
10. Hire, develop, and inspire a diverse team to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. A degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Continuous Professional Development is a plus.
3. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
4. Proven experience in designing and operating a start-up biologics manufacturing facility.
5. Knowledge of large molecule release, stability, and characterization analytical methods.
6. Experience in developing and implementing validation strategies.
7. Familiarity with technology transfer, regulatory filings, and health authority interactions.
8. A background in pharmaceutical operations, particularly in biologics or vaccines.
