Job summary

Wainbee is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer in Alliston, Ontario. The role requires deep experience with engine production lines and equipment, including die cast, assembly, and related tooling. You will lead end-to-end projects from concept through manufacturing and installation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers and global teams, performing basic engineering calculations, and driving commissioning and launch activities. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 13–15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of engine production lines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of manufacturing projects including planning, design reviews, installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with customer production engineering, equipment suppliers and global vendors to ensure on‑time procurement and readiness.
• Drive FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials and launch support.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and risk mitigation; communicate with stakeholders.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Years of Experience: 13~15 yrs

• Has good understanding of Engine line
• Experience in:
  • Engine Die cast line equipments and specification document creation
  • Engine Die cast machining line equipments and specification document creation
  • Engine Assembly line equipments and specification document creation
  • Pneumatic/Hydraulic drawings for the equipment functions
  • Concept building using solid work
• Experience in taking design from concept through manufacturing and installation.
• Able to perform basic engineering calculations to size machine components.
• Able to analyze problems and implement improvements in existing designs and equipment.
• Responsible for leading end-to-end execution.
• Project management experience
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resource planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate with customer Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and global vendors to ensure on-time equipment procurement, installation, and production readiness
• Drive FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials, and launch support activities.
• SOFTWARES: Catia v5, SolidWorks, AutoCAD (MUST), MS OFFICE (MUST)
