Job summary

ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to create and maintain project schedules, collaborating with the Project Manager and department leads to assess progress and mitigate issues.

The role requires 3+ years scheduling in manufacturing, proficiency with Primavera, Planview, MS Project and Excel, and strong analysis and communication skills. We offer a comprehensive rewards package including vacation, benefits, and development programs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Materials Management or equivalent with knowledge of MRP, shop floor control.
• 3+ years scheduling experience in manufacturing; Primavera/Planview and MS Project/Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Biweekly updates of Primavera project schedules.
• Generate schedule changes to predict delivery dates.
• Use Primavera to automate data collection and distribution.
• Determine material due dates using schedules and sales input.
• Provide information to production to issue due-dated work orders.
• Coordinate work order issuance and kitting to meet schedule.
• Run MRP and finite scheduling to generate plant schedules.
• Report scheduling/cost forecasting shortfalls to the Project Manager.
