Our Team in Edmonton, AB is looking for a Manufacturing Process Operator to join us!

Summary

The Process Operator is responsible for working in a team setting to deliver products that meet quality and cost targets in a manufacturing setting while following standard operating procedures to ensure quality and safety.

This is an entry level position with no experience required; training will be provided.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Perform assigned work adhering to quality standards operating procedures.
  2. Work in a team to meet targets and health and safety standards while ensuring quality on time delivery, and profitability.
  3. Perform routine calibrations, qualifications and set ups to ensure production equipment and standard processes are operation or performing at specified levels.
  4. Manage time and equipment usage efficiently to meet production targets.
  5. Facilitate teamwork within and across shifts.
  6. Stimulate a positive work environment that focuses on quality and best practices.
  7. Demonstrate professional conduct in the workplace, leading with excellent work habits, time management, productivity, quality, and a high level of safety awareness.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, profitability, material utilization, and tool usage.
  9. Communicate with Production Manager and other team members on issues that affect safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  10. Assist with improving applicable work instructions, safety procedures, and related quality documentation.
  11. Assist with applicable process development and CI (Continuous Improvement) projects.
  12. Adhere to and recommend improvements to the 5S+1 program and standard contamination protocols in their assigned work area.

Education & Experience
  1. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  2. Experience working in a clean room environment (preferred).
  3. Ability to work in a team and demonstrates leadership qualities.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
