Job summary

Canada Rocket Company is seeking a Head of Manufacturing to champion the fit out, deployment, qualification, control, and industrialization fabrication processes that turn our vehicle designs into reliable, flight-ready hardware.

You will collaborate with structures, propulsion, fluids, integration, and executive teams to define CRC’s manufacturing approach, grow teams, and establish in-house capability for rate production while ensuring supplier partnerships and material/process controls meet

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing engineering for aerospace hardware or similar demanding environments.
• Experience establishing tooling and advanced manufacturing capability.
• Deep knowledge of metallic materials and fabrication processes.
• Experience developing or optimizing fabrication processes for hardware.
• Strong understanding of materials vs manufacturing methods and impact on performance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own CRC's manufacturing and process strategy across materials, fabrication methods, in-house vs outsourced capability, and industrialization roadmap.
• Decide where to build in-house vs rely on supply-base partnerships; drive capital and hiring plans.
• Set standards for material and process qualification and ensure compliance.
• Own make-vs-buy and supplier strategy for materials; manage relationships with supply chain and ops.
• Lead documentation systems for manufacturing; ensure auditable, consistent output.
• Represent manufacturing in reviews, trade studies, and executive discussions on hardware risk and production scaling.
