Job summary

Original Composites & Fiberglass in Guelph, Ontario, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive safe, stable, and productive glass-fiber production processes. You will work with a small team to optimize forming performance, reduce variation, and promote robust quality systems in a fast-paced environment.

Success comes from hands-on problem solving, data-driven decisions, and coaching operators to own improvements, with opportunities to broaden into adjacent portfolios and leadership

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience analyzing process data and applying structured problem solving to reduce variation.
• Familiarity with ISO-based quality management systems and audits.
• Ability to travel; passport eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Lead fiber forming process improvements with data-driven problem solving.
• Coordinate quality systems and ensure ISO standards are applied across the plant.
• Support process owners in root-cause analysis and preventive action planning.
• Oversee quality lab activities and sampling of materials and products.
