  • Write reports including work orders, progress reports, and equipment recommendations.
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Read blueprints and interpret manufacturer’s drawings, schematics, and overhaul instructions.
  • Record all work performed and recommended work in our CMMS software.
  • Ensure PM schedules are completed on time.
What You Bring:
  • A valid Journeyman Millwright certificate (or equivalent Interprovincial Red Seal) as recognized by the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board.
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
  • The ability to troubleshoot 24v control and PLC circuits on machinery.
  • 5 years plus experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Rebuild experience.
  • Equipment certifications/training and 2 years technical/troubleshooting experience with CNC, woodworking, and metal equipment.
  • Strong knowledge and troubleshooting abilities regarding pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, fans, welding, machining, and conveyors.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to work 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shift rotation.
  • Strong computer and smartphone abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment and materials.
What’s In It for You:
  • An on-site cafeteria with coffee, soft drinks, continental breakfast, hot lunches, snacks, and more.
  • Eligibility to participate in DIRTT’s Employee Share Purchase Plan.
  • Fulsome employer-paid health benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage plus life, critical illness, and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
  • Mental health resources including an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).
  • A thorough and supportive onboarding program to set you up for success.
