Base pay range

CA$60,000.00/yr - CA$70,000.00/yr

The Manufacturing Improvement & HSE Lead drives workplace safety and operational efficiency by developing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with regulations. This role identifies potential risks, implements corrective measures, and delivers training to promote a safety-first culture.

Additionally, this position evaluates current operational practices to uncover improvement opportunities. Collaborating with leadership, the lead designs and implements process enhancements while training teams to adopt new standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for safety and productivity.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing operations, project coordination, or industrial business support
• Prior responsibility for workplace safety protocols in an industrial setting
• Hands-on background guiding process improvement initiatives using constraint analysis and efficiency-focused frameworks
• Formal training in operational excellence disciplines (e.g., DMAIC, Six Sigma, workplace organization, rapid changeover, continuous improvement systems)
• Familiarity with standardized production systems and quality enhancement approaches
• Working understanding of international quality management standards and their practical application
• Occupational safety accreditation (such as Joint Health & Safety Committee certification) is preferred
• Awareness of regulatory compliance requirements, hazard mitigation practices, and incident resolution procedures
