Job summary

A-1 Window Mfg. Ltd. in Burnaby, BC is seeking a General labourer – manufacturing to join our team on the morning shift. The role is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.10 per hour.

Responsibilities include moving materials, weighing and sorting items, assisting machine operators, packing goods, and keeping work areas clean. English fluency is required; 1–2 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No formal education requirement.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or with powered equipment.
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Clean machines and surrounding work areas.
