Job summary

Greenfield Global Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with the Plant Controller in Chatham, Ontario. You will drive month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support operational decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting/financial analysis experience, strong Excel modelling skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions while upholding internal controls and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Professional accounting designation or progress toward one preferred.
• 3–5 years in accounting/financial analysis, manufacturing or operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for modelling and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities with journal entries, accruals, and inventory entries.
• Prepare reconciliations, analyze variances, and maintain audit trails.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts including inventory and capital projects.
• Support year-end activities and internal/external audits.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts with cross-functional teams.
