Job summary

Airbus in Mirabel, Quebec, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the A220 program’s operations support team. You will help autonomous work cells resolve technical issues and minimize production impact, collaborating across engineering, logistics, quality and production.

You will lead improvements, interpret drawings, define assembly strategies and ensure tools meet tolerances. The role offers upskilling and development in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or DEC in Engineering or Aeronautics.
• PMP certification or experience in project management is an asset.
• Strong experience in continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mind and ability to efficiently solve problems.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

The A220 commercial aircraft Program is looking for one Manufacturing Engineering to join our operations support department team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

You will be part of the PREFAL team responsible for producing aircraft components which are delivered to the two FALs of the A220 program, Mirabel and Mobil.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as a manufacturing engineering,will be to support the autonomous work cells / EAP, and ensure that technical issues are resolved efficiently and quickly in order to minimize impacts to operations.

• Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.

Your boarding pass:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or DEC in Engineering or Aeronautics with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience;


• PMP certification or experience in project management is an asset;


• You have strong experience in continuous improvement and problem solving;


• You have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;


• You have an analytical mind and an ability to efficiently solve problems;


• You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
