Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will work in a team to develop, support and optimize manufacturing processes in the Displays product area.

As Manufacturing Engineering Analyst - Displays, your key responsibilities include:

  1. Perform the selection, purchase, validation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment as well as user training.
  2. Design production equipment and tools.
  3. Provide technical support for production activities.
  4. Analyze results on manufacturing quality to improve assembly processes.
  5. Write the required technical documentation for production: visual aids, routing, manufacturing procedures.
  6. Intervene as an agent of change in the continuous improvement of assembly processes for different product lines by applying Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma techniques.
  7. Analyze manufacturing capacity and propose solutions to identified problems.

How to excel in this role:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automated Production Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience.
  3. Knowledge of design software tools (Solidworks).
  4. Knowledge of machining and sheet metal folding techniques.
  5. Must be an informed user of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  6. Work experience in an environment of lean, six sigma and/or kanban is an asset.
  7. Bilingualism (French - English – spoken and written).
