Job summary

Cosma International in Mississauga is seeking an engineering leader to drive cross‑functional projects for body, chassis and engineering solutions. You will lead initiatives from concept to rollout, coordinating design, tooling, budgeting and capital approvals while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

You will mentor teams, perform time/motion and line-balancing analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, ergonomics and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience required in energy project management, or industrial facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and alignment with customer requirements (PPAP and run at rate).
• Monitor and follow-up on project progress with leadership to ensure goals are met.
• Develop line balancing, manpower, and machine charts for flexible and efficient workflows.
• Review, monitor, and coordinate tooling design, build, approval process, and capital budgeting.
• Oversee equipment relocation and installation, ensuring effective integration into the Meadowvale plant.
• Prepare and maintain reports, charts, and other documentation for engineering projects.
• Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
