Overview

Manufacturing Engineer (MNC/ Semiconductor/ Cleanroom) - JD2038

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hour)

Location: Woodlands (Company transport pick up at Admiralty MRT)

Job Scope
  • Support Product Manufacturing Engineers (ME) in executing operation preparation tickets using PLM and SAP systems
  • Assist MEs in developing and documenting manufacturing procedures, build sequences, methods, and quality documentation such as work instructions, test procedures, and inspection checklists in line with material and assembly specifications
  • Conduct on-site validation of draft procedures and update revisions in coordination with the manufacturing production line
  • Create and maintain OMS Pro (Order Management System) documentation, including: Product module configuration based on building blocks; Assembly processes for chambers, frame assemblies, vacuum lines, brackets, and plates, including installation of electrical components in top and bottom boxes; Electrical harness cable routing according to schematics, patch lists, and wire lists
  • Develop and update Test Work Instructions by: Referring to the test building blocks of product modules; Establishing test sequences based on input from Test Engineers; Incorporating GUI screens and detailed test methods into instructions
  • Support MEs in designing jigs and fixtures using 2D and 3D CAD tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global Operations (GOPS) and Business Units (BU) to implement timely solutions for suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal manufacturing needs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, capacity, and operational efficiency
  • Assist in delivering production tooling and testing equipment that meet product requirements, supporting manufacturing efficiency and customer quality expectations
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering
  • Experience in design drawing and create OMS (Operations Manufacturing System) - setting up systems, workflows, or documentation for operations, manufacturing, or maintenance
  • Prior industrial experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as PTC Creo
  • Familiarity with Visual Enterprise Author is a plus
  • Experience using SAP PLM and/or other major ERP/MRP systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (e.g., scripting, VLOOKUP), Visio, or other scripting/coding tools is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models, and validate GD&T
  • Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Capable of writing basic procedures and creating checklists
  • Familiar with operational excellence tools such as Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus, and adherence to cleanroom protocols is required
