Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II for its Orillia, Ontario facility. You will implement and improve manufacturing methods supporting new product development and efficient production in a fast-paced CNC shop serving aerospace, automotive and defense sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
3+ years in manufacturing engineering, aerospace preferred.
Proficient with CAD/CAM, GD&T, and multi-axis CNC programming.

Responsibilities

Ensure processes meet customer specs, drawings and quality standards.
Review & approve tool calibration results for production accuracy.
Lead ECRs and updates to drawings or specs.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts.
Coordinate with suppliers on SCARs and pre-SCARs; site visits as needed.
Develop CNC programs for 2–4 axis turning and 3–5 axis milling.
