About the role:

As a Manufacturing Engineering II you will support delivery of project manufacturing activities and deliverables to ensure customer commitments are met.

You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and be located on-site at our Peterborough, Ontario, facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailed planning for manufacturing activities related to project deliveries
  • Coordinate tasks related to preparation for manufacturing activities (e.g. ordering of tooling, fixturing, consumables)
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement plans in the manufacturing operation
  • Help implement manufacturing activities on customer projects by providing technical input/oversight on planned tasks
  • Lead the manufacturing team members through emergent technical challenges, including the assessment and dispositioning of manufacturing non-conformances
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in engineering required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with manufacturing techniques, welding procedures or specifications and associated inspection techniques.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
