Job description

Main Responsibilities:

  1. CNC equipment programming (especially in turning), test running, and troubleshooting
  2. Develop and improve manufacturing methods including all aspects such as assembly methods, machining methods, tooling, production equipment, provide suggestions for raw materials, product design and quality control practices for Suzhou SLS products.
  3. Shorten the standard hours for Suzhou SLS in-house processes to meet the efficiency improvement target together with line manager.
  4. Implement quick and effective process (machining & assembly) troubleshooting.
  5. Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Requirements:

  1. Proficient in using lean tools such as SMED, JIT, VSM, Kaizen, poka-yoke, etc.
  2. Be able to communicate/discuss in English
  3. CNC equipment programming (especially in milling), test running, and troubleshooting
  4. Good quality awareness.
  5. Good communication and team working skills.
  6. AutoCAD/3D Skills (experience of Inventor is preferred).
  7. Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical
  8. Mechanical processing and design experience are preferred.
  9. Have shaft line products knowledge, for example stern tube assembly, etc, will be a plus.
  10. Be familiar with classification society rules is preferred.
