  • General awareness of Manufacturing Systems.

Salary: £32.47 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Renfrew

Position: Third and final position to fill

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking a 'Zero Defects' approach in all daily activities.
  • Developing, implementing, validating, maintaining, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.
  • Creating, maintaining, and governing elements that clearly define the manufacturing process and controlling them effectively.
  • Capturing, analyzing, and utilizing data to demonstrate and improve manufacturing processes.

Experience and skillset required for a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Qualified to HNC level in an Engineering subject or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literate with effective communication skills at all levels on technical issues.
  • General awareness of Manufacturing Systems.
  • Understanding of 'Lean Principles'.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Ability to read technical drawings related to manufacturing/repair processes.
