Senior Analyst, Finance Supply

Term : Permanent, Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Day

Work Mode : Hybrid (onsite 2-days a week)

Reports to : Finance Manager

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster strong collaboration between Finance and Plant Management Leadership team to ensure accurate financial data processing, including detailed plant cost analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the period-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, inventory reconciliations, plant cost statement analysis, and capital project tracking.
  • Provide analytical support by reviewing actual versus standard costs and delivering insights into cost drivers behind plant variances.
  • Partner with plant teams to develop and monitor annual budgets and periodic performance reports.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Costing teams to validate data used in standard costing processes.
  • Manage financial reporting and analysis for multiple manufacturing plants.
  • Travel to various plant locations throughout the year is required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and present complex manufacturing cost effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • High attention to details.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across all levels and departments.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting.
  • Accounting Designation or enrolled in CPA program is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment and cost accounting.
  • Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
