About This Role:

Working as a member of FCM’s Senior Leadership team, the Managing Director leads the strategic evolution and growth of GMF and FCM’s climate programs, ensuring they deliver measurable climate, economic and community outcomes while maintaining strong financial stewardship, governance and risk management. The Managing Director is accountable for portfolio strategy and performance; investment and program direction; relationships with federal partners, municipalities and other key stakeholders; growth and innovation; and the long-term capitalization, sustainability and positioning of GMF. The role will be central to ensuring that GMF continues to evolve as Canada’s leading municipal climate-delivery and financing platform. The Managing Director will also work closely across FCM to leverage the organization’s enterprise capabilities in governance, finance, risk, operations, policy, communications and member engagement.
