The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Managing Director to lead our team and drive our continued growth and success. The Managing Director will be the driving force behind our strategic vision, operational excellence, and client-centric approach. This individual will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in the IT consulting and business strategy domain, possessing a deep understanding of the industry’s challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning :

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve the company’s growth and profitability objectives.

  • Identify emerging market trends and technologies and align the company’s offerings to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Business Development :

Spearhead business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to expand the company’s client base.
  • Lead proposal development and presentations, showcasing the company’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Operations Management :

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to clients.

  • Implement robust project management methodologies and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Client Relationship Management :

Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership on technology and business issues.
  • Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Inspire and motivate a high-performing team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, providing mentorship and coaching to support their professional growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best.
  • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.
  • Thought Leadership :

Represent the company as a thought leader in the industry, speaking at conferences, publishing articles, and participating in industry events.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for clients.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in a senior leadership role within the IT consulting or business strategy industry, demonstrating a track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IT experience with a medium / large size client base
  • Strategic Vision :

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s vision and mission.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach, utilizing insights to inform strategic choices.
  • Business Development Acumen :

A proven track record of success in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.

  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with senior executives.
  • Expert negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure profitable engagements.
  • Operational Excellence :

Expertise in managing complex projects and operations within the IT consulting or business strategy domain.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality services to clients, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
