This role requires obtaining the LLQP license within three months. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of developing strong relationships with clients, prospects, teammates, and internal/external distribution partners. Good analytical skills and experience in conducting GRS marketing, requests for proposals, and finalist presentations are important competencies for this role.

Managing Consultants serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients and typically collaborate with a Consultant on large or complex clients. The main difference between the Consultant and Managing Consultant roles is that the Consultant has business development responsibilities.

The Managing Consultant (GRS) will:
  • Client Service: Manage and service an existing block of GRS clients through proactive account management and regular contact, supported by 1-2 team members depending on client size/complexity. Maintain a client database and keep it up to date. Success is measured by client retention, satisfaction, and quality of records.
  • Development of Others: Coach and mentor team members to support their development and career growth, enabling the practice to expand. Performance is evaluated based on team feedback and their progress.
  • Special Projects: Assist with client communication, summaries of legislation and guideline updates, participate in or host webinars and information sessions, and support other projects as assigned.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain LLQP license, monitor market trends, and understand legislation, taxation, investments, and compliance related to retirement and savings programs offered by the GRS team.
To be successful as a Managing Consultant with People Corporation, you will need:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with group retirement savings programs.
  • LLQP license (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
  • A team player mindset and client-focused approach.
  • Proactive attitude and reliability in delivering promises.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Creative mindset and proficient writing skills.
  • Willingness to help develop marketing, sales, and client communication materials.
Whats in it for you:
  • Learn by working alongside experts.
  • Extended health care and dental benefits.
  • A retirement savings plan with company contributions.
  • Health & Wellness programs.
  • Mental health support for you and your family.
  • Assistance with industry designation completion.
  • Competitive compensation.
