A leading consulting firm in Toronto is seeking a Managing Consultant to manage client accounts and mentor team members. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in group retirement savings programs, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Our Group Retirement Solutions (GRS) practice continues to be a high growth area for People Corporation and we are looking for a Managing Consultant in the Toronto area.
This role requires obtaining the LLQP license within three months. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of developing strong relationships with clients, prospects, teammates, and internal/external distribution partners. Good analytical skills and experience in conducting GRS marketing, requests for proposals, and finalist presentations are important competencies for this role.
Managing Consultants serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients and typically collaborate with a Consultant on large or complex clients. The main difference between the Consultant and Managing Consultant roles is that the Consultant has business development responsibilities.
