Job Description

What is the opportunity? It's always exciting to be part of a dynamic team! This role combines business acumen and technical skills to deliver top-tier HR reporting and insights within Workday and other HR Information Systems. As a Manager, Workforce Reporting & Insights, you will be involved in reporting, projects, and initiatives related to HR data, analytics, report design, report creation, dashboards, data consolidation, and scheduling of reports to provide insights to our stakeholders. This involves requirement gathering, stakeholder management, planning, and recommending effective methods to produce and deliver reports, supporting business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a reporting and data analytics expert familiar with the HR environment through Workday and secondary HR Information Systems. You should have a passion for designing best-in-class reporting, be quick to learn new skills, create technical specifications, design high-level queries, and conduct testing to ensure high-quality outputs. Your experience in building and maintaining relationships with business partners, capturing reporting requirements, and managing change as new reports are introduced will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, enhance, and automate operational reports, dashboards, or deliver ad-hoc findings based on business needs through Workday.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday and HR reporting systems.
  3. Lead all HR reporting inquiries and deliverables to stakeholders.
  4. Review business requirements to determine the best technical and business approaches regarding Workday configurations.
  5. Understand field types and relationships between Workday objects to develop analytics and insights.
  6. Identify opportunities to standardize and scale reports, optimize dashboards, and curate insights.
  7. Support production environment with troubleshooting, executing, and monitoring scheduled processes.
  8. Run, verify, and dispatch scheduled reports, including manual data extraction if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Workday experience creating custom reports (advanced, matrix, composite).
  • Strong knowledge of the Workday ecosystem and related modules.
  • Formal training in Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Teradata, Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and MS Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and visualization.
  • Understanding of SAP tables and data locations.
  • Ability to identify data sources and business objects for reporting.
  • Proven experience in HR data reporting, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to data accuracy, privacy, and security.

Nice to Have:

  • Advanced VBA skills.
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and R.
  • Familiarity with RBC HR systems and formal training in HRIS systems.
  • Experience in enhancing analytics with trending and composite reporting.
  • Desire to acquire Workday Pro certifications.
