Overview

Avalon Dairy has been a local leader in the manufacturing and distribution of quality dairy products. We are looking for a natural born leader with a minimum 3 years experience leading a Warehouse team. You are extremely well organized with a strong knowledge of warehouse operations. You are a team player and problem solver able to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the warehouse operations
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team
  • Schedule and supervise all warehouse personnel
  • Order fulfillment to include picking, packing and shipping process
  • Receiving processes
  • Employee hiring and training
  • Develop and implement warehouse process improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and efficiencies
  • Implement effective inventory control processes of raw ingredients to finished goods
  • Enforce health and safety compliance via regulations and best practices with continuous monitoring
  • Maintain Quality Standards as required from various regulatory associations including CFIA and SQF
  • Inventory management and space allocation
  • Equipment experience is an asset including forklifts
