Manager, Vision, Compliance, and Sustainability

As the Manager, Vision, Compliance, and Sustainability, you will support the company’s strategy in sustainable development, circular economy, and social and environmental compliance.

Reporting to the Director, Vision, Compliance, and Sustainability, your mandate will be to contribute to an ambitious and measurable transformation, in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will act as an ambassador for Simons’ values, playing a key role in embedding responsible practices across our supply chain.

Your analytical rigour, creativity, and passion for sustainable innovation will make you a key driver of our performance and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the sustainability strategy by helping establish clear and measurable objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement initiatives that reduce our carbon footprint, optimize water use, promote responsible sourcing, and foster circularity.
  • Collect and analyze environmental data (GHG emissions, water use, etc.) to inform business decisions and support the drafting of the annual sustainability report in alignment with the GHG Protocol (Scopes 1 to 3).
  • Support the management of Vision standards (materials, certifications, processes) and ensure legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to chemicals, social and environmental practices, and assist in updating internal policies (Code of Conduct, Material Policy, etc.).
  • Identify and recommend Vision-related training programs in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Promote the Vision strategy to employees and the public in partnership with Marketing and Buying teams.
  • Support customer service and store teams with any questions related to Vision (sustainability, supply chain, product compliance, etc.).

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or a related field (Master’s degree considered an asset).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability, ideally within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
