About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Vendor Management, to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

  • Build relationships and networks with suppliers, business partners, peers and leaders to support your professional growth and success.

  • Strengthen your expertise as you optimize the vendor management function within IT and the Laboratories.

  • Grow your leadership and change management skills, both on-the-job and through in-house leadership training programs.

  • Transform strategy into action and get your point across to whoever may be in the room.

  • Challenge the status quo with empathy and diplomacy.

  • Proactively manage IT and the laboratories overall vendor portfolio.

  • Manage the assignation process.

  • Identify and support key strategic projects.

  • Identify and mitigate project at risk.

  • Coach, support, develop and lead your team.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, professional designation such as CPP considered an asset, or any combination of equivalent education and experience

  • Experience as a manager (a minimum of two years of experience managing a team).

  • Deep knowledge of vendor management and current insights of IT market trends and vendors is required.

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and attention to detail.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
