Manager, UX Research (Products & Services)We AreWe’re a team of 40+ User Experience Research professionals at Oracle NetSuite working on the foundational elements of the NetSuite product experience. We’re part of a larger community of 175+ Experience Designers, Content Designers, UI and Visual Designers, Technical Writers, Videographers, Design Strategists and connected professionals across Oracle NetSuite. We collaborate closely with the NetSuite leadership team under Evan Goldberg and contribute to Oracle’s award-winning Redwood design system.

You get totally geeked out about influencing the product from long term strategy to design decisions that enhance the experience- You are adept at influencing senior stakeholders and partners for research and data driven solutions.
- Guiding and coaching researchers to propose, plan, complete, analyze, and deliver user research at various stages of the product lifecycle, including formative and generative research, validation research, and measurement of final product experiences.
- You know about agile development and the art of helping researchers, designers, and product managers work as a cohesive unit.
- You bring a data-driven mindset, and coach the team to leverage both quantitative and qualitative insights to build a strong case for continuous improvement.
- You are able to collaborate with and influence your product and design partners and other leaders across the product group to become increasingly user-centered in everything we do from strategies to roadmaps and planning.
- You are comfortable operating in a large, matrixed organization partnering with VP and Director level stakeholders.

Qualifications / Skills- 8+ years of experience as a user experience professional, preferably in the Enterprise domain or business software.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and execs, and advocating for critical research practices and insights to be adopted and to inform product decisions.
- Extensive experience planning and completing different types of research - from generative, formative to evaluative and measurement research.
- Experienced at developing researchers into influential product team members.
- Experience leading teams of 5+ in a people manager role.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and skilled at impactful storytelling.
- Degree in the field of Psychology, User Experience, HCI, Human Factors or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- B2B enterprise software spanning user-types, industries and devices will give you a good head start.
- ERP / Financial software experience is a (major) plus.
- Familiarity with research platforms and tools such as Voice of Customer, dScout, Jira, and research repositories is a bonus.
- Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams - we have product hubs in Brno (Czech Republic), Barcelona (Spain) Redwood Shores (California), Austin (Texas), Waterloo (Canada) and many more locations.
- Home-based work is an option but for this role we do ask that you are based within regular office-visit range of our office in Barcelona.
ResponsibilitiesWhat We're Looking ForCome and join us as an experienced Manager of UX Research in Austin (US) or Canada (Kitchener-Waterloo/Toronto) reporting to the Sr. Manager of Research, you’ll lead a team of 5 researchers focused on crafting the next-generation product experience for NetSuite. Our team’s focus is on the processes that support delivery of products and services within a suite of capabilities that make these processes easier and more efficient for everyone across the organization.
You'll lead efforts to evolve research strategy, research methodologies and best practices as we continue to scale, and ensure research is well-integrated into our product development decision-making. Your focus will be to deliver impactful research insights to support the product teams’ vision and strategy.
The ideal candidate will be a mixture of research coach and mentor, process optimizer, and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will be operating in a organization partnering with VP and Director level stakeholders across product management, engineering, design and research. We’re especially keen to talk to candidates with strong background of developing employees and working alongside senior leaders to influence the future roadmap.
