Our Montreal office is looking for a Manager to join the US Corporate Tax team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Identify as well as develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities for cross-border operations. This includes preparing & review tax reorganizations and reviewing tax returns
  • Lead US Tax engagements for partnership, trust, and corporate clients
  • Build positive working relationships with clients
  • Participate in business development initiatives including identify new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education

  • You have completed your Canadian or US CPA designation
  • You have 5 years’ experience in public accounting with experience supporting US Tax clients
  • You have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate and trust tax planning, and compliance
  • You have excellent communication skills in both English and French
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
