Job description

About the Company

Versaterm is a PE‑backed, high‑growth SaaS company building a fully integrated platform across the entire public safety ecosystem — dispatch, law enforcement, forensics, courts, and beyond. We've grown through strategic acquisitions and deep product investment. What connects all of it is a single purpose: give public safety agencies the tools and insights to make better decisions in high‑stakes moments.

When a dispatcher takes a 911 call, a detective works a case, or a lab processes evidence, there's a good chance our software is running in the background. That's been true for over four decades.

AI is central to where we're going. Not as a feature but as core infrastructure. We're embedding intelligence directly into the workflows our customers rely on every day, and we're doing it alongside them. Our customers tell us what the mission demands. We build what answers it.

This work attracts a specific kind of person — someone who wants to be pushed by great people, build things that outlast a sprint cycle, and go home knowing the work connected back to something real.

Role

As a Manager, Treasury and Collections at a private‑equity‑backed SaaS software company, you will oversee the company’s treasury, collections, and support financial reporting activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant preparation of internal and external financial reports, supporting cash management activities, and driving effective collections processes. Operating in a fast‑paced and exciting environment, you will work closely with finance and operational teams to provide financial insights, maintain strong financial controls, and support the ongoing development of treasury and collections processes. The successful candidate will be expected to implement new systems and tools, establish governance frameworks, and build out automated dunning processes to support a high‑growth, PE‑backed environment.

What You Do

  • Monitor cash balances and support cash management activities to ensure adequate liquidity across all entities.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining cash‑flow forecasts and monitor forecast accuracy against actual results.
  • Support the identification and management of financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Accounting on treasury activities, including cash optimization and funding requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and applicable legal requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze collections reporting, KPIs, and account status updates for finance leadership.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve customer account issues and improve cash collection performance.
Corporate Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver management and leadership a 12‑month rolling cash forecast that provides meaningful insights into financial performance and business trends (examples: Days Sales Outstanding ratio and Accounts Receivable Turnover ratio).
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial reporting and ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax and company reporting requirements.
  • Analyze financial results and provide commentary on variances, trends, and key business drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation, standardization, and process improvements.
  • Partner with accounting, FP&A, and operational teams to validate financial results and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Support team members responsible for reporting activities.
What You Bring

  • 6–8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury, or financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and US GAAP.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct and QuickBooks), treasury & financial accounts receivable collection reporting tools (Invoiced/Flywire, Stripe, and others), and treasury platforms & portals (Bank web portals, such as JPMorgan and AMEX).
